RPS Seat Cushion (Large Version) - Boston Whaler Montauk, Newport, Outrage

Reversible pilot seat cushion (Large version: 38" x 23").  Click here for the original size. Uses 3" Ultra High density foam, and 3/4" treated plywood. This cushion fastens to your new or existing "Z" legs with (8) #14x2 stainless steel wood screws. 

Color Choices:

This cushion is made from UV resistant marine grade vinyl in your choice of

-Solid off white (match for 'desert tan' gel coat found on all 1977-appx 1993 hulls)
-OEM parchment (dark being) with brown piping
-Mid 1990's solid Boston Whaler 'white.'  Boston Whaler's mid 1990s+ 'white' is not a stark bright white and will only match with the Boston Whaler 'white' gel coat.  See last image. 

COLOR OPTION NOTE:  If you have a pre-1994 Montauk with the welded bow rail and plan on ordering the bow cushion now or in the future, you will want to choose either off white or parchment (the correct colors for your year range).  The Boston Whaler white bow cushion does NOT have the notches for the legs of the bow rail so it will not fit correctly.

Note: There are two sizes for this seat. The regular (38" X 19") is found on most hulls prior to the 1990's while the larger (38" X 23") is found primarily on 1990-1999 classic 17' hulls.  If using the larger seat cushion you will also need the larger swing arms found here.

Note: (For installation onto Z-legs) in addition to the wood screws provided, it is recommended to use 5200 Marine Adhesive to attach the cushion to the Z-legs. This is highly recommended for the 18" Z-legs which flex more than the 15" legs. To do this, cut a small patch of mesh off around each screw location and apply adhesive so the wood is adhered directly to the legs.
