Pair (2) of Boston Whaler rod holder cushions. These rod holder cushions attach to the front of the rod holders that are found on many classic Montauk and Outrage Boston Whalers. Rod holders are sold separately here. They are used as backrests for passengers siting on the cooler in front of the console.  These cushions have a built in angle to counteract the lean of the console so the passenger has a more vertical backrest.

Color Choices:

These 2" high density cushions are made from UV resistant marine grade vinyl in your choice of

-Solid off white (match for 'desert tan' gel coat found on all 1977-appx 1993 hulls)

-OEM parchment (dark being) with brown piping

-Mid 1990's solid Boston Whaler 'white.'  Boston Whaler's mid 1990s+ 'white' is not a stark bright white and will only match with the Boston Whaler 'white' gel coat.  See last image.

NOTE:  If you have a pre-1994 Montauk with the welded bow rail and plan on ordering the bow cushion now or in the future, you will want to choose either off white or parchment (the correct colors for your year range).  The Boston Whaler white bow cushion does NOT have the notches for the legs of the bow rail so it will not fit correctly.

1If you do not want to use rod holders on your console you can double fold the 3" wide snap flaps and staple them with T50 9/16" stainless staples to the hard backing on each cushion then mount the male snaps directly to your console.

I have not had the opportunity to install the items as yet since the Boat is at the local marine service facility to have the engine checked out prior to starting. Store owner replied: Hi Chris, We make our cushions by replicating OEM products that we originally traded a customer in the past to use as templates. The bottom of the seat cushion for the RPS is also stapled with stainless steel and we have not experienced any problems with following this OEM style of manufacturing for the 20 years we have been making these.
