Boston Whaler 316 stainless Rail Stand-off / Stanchion backing plate. This plate mounts on the exterior of the hull so that you can through bolt a rail stanchion on the inside. This is used where there is no wood stud where you want to install a standoff (typical for older hulls). This part was mainly used throughout the 60's & 70's but it can be used on any boat.
