Boston Whaler OEM 3 piece 37' rub rail kit. Fits all Boston Whaler Classic 9'-17' hulls from 1958-1999 (excluding Dauntless, 17' Outrage). This kit is off white (moonstone color code-OEM BW color to match desert tan) with a black insert and includes all mounting hardware. Aluminum rivets are included (3/16" diameter, 2 3/8" length; .751-.875 grip range). 12x1.5 screws (not provided) can also be used but must be countersunk so they do not interfere with the insert.
Dimensions: 1 5/8" wide When installed on the lip the rub rail covers approximately 1 1/2" vertically (down) & 7/8" horizontally on top
Note: The width of the the vintage OEM original equipment is 1 1/2". The newer rub rail kits do not reach all the way down to the bottom edge, so when installed there will be about a 1/2" strip of gunnel lip visible below the rub rail.
Note: Rigid receivers can be heated up to 175 degree Fahrenheit to allow for more pliable installation

The finished rubrail on my 86' Boston Whaler 15' Sport CC. The color match on the Desert Tan parts is PERFECT. No issues installing it, picked up a tip online: lubricate the black rubrail insert with a little soapy water in a spray bottle, and it goes into the base track much easier. I only had to use a little heat gun on the tight corners at the bow. More than enough rivets for the job, and seemed very good quality. I replaced the bow light wiring while I was at, plenty of room behind the rubrail insert to house the wire. Highly recommend this kit!

All the products I bought worked great, the plastic section of the ringtail was very difficult to in stall and with the aid of a hydraulic riveter it went pretty smooth after the first 5 feet on the starboard side with the wire for the bow lite

The rivets worked great, but on some areas of the front curve where clamps did not fit I used screws to pull it in tight before using a rivet. I also recommend more than two clamps, and larger high quality clamps like Irwin 24 to 36 inch clamps made the job easier. Smaller Kwik Clamps were not always sufficient.

The rub rail fit my 1980's vintage 13" Boston Whaler perfectly. It was a challenge to install but nothing someone with very basic skills and a little tenacity couldn't do.
