Mahogany bow hatch finished with the minimum 7 coats of sprayed Captains ZSpar varnish.  Fits all classic Boston Whaler 15' hulls from 1976 - 1999. Comes complete with new stainless hinges. No holes are drilled so you can use your original hinges if desired. Two blocks have been added to the underside of this hatch to prevent warping. 

Dimensions: 16 5/8" across the front x 24" from front to back x 28 7/8" across the back.

Note: Please verify size before ordering. The classic 17' had two different size bow hatches. Dimension shown above is the measurement across the front (shortest side) where hinges are located. If you need the larger hatch measuring 20 5/8" please click here.

Note: Please check the box above if you would also like a bungee and 2 eyelets to secure the front of the hatch.

I am awesomely satisfied with the bow hatch from Specialty Marine. Very impressed with the included hinges. They match the originals perfectly. And, they are a lot prettier than my 40-year-old OEMs. The fit was very good. In my case, the aft brace could have been moved forward a few sixteenths. However, I am using the original mounting positions of the hinges on the hull. I'm getting a snug fit on the close. My gell coat isn't pretty. It's been used a lot!
