Customer photo review of Boston Whaler Mahogany Backrest With L-Brackets, Fits Classic 13' &15'

Arrived exactly as described. I did decide to screw through the top of the seat thwart into the bracket because there is not room under the seat to screw up into the seat from the underside. If not using cushions I could see this could possibly cause issues.

Store owner replied: Hi Scott. Thanks for the review! This is a good note for others to keep in mind. One clamp and the seat have to be removed in order to drill from the bottom. Looks great though!

The parts were very well packaged. There were only a couple of "runs" in the varnish but they were very minor and hardly noticeable. Cutting the holes for the electronic panel and steering wheel were a little challenging since the helm was assembled. I made a plywood template from my old helm which made cutting the new holes easier and accurate. Overall I'm very happy I bought the new interior instead of trying to strip the varnish off the original interior. I would recommend buying buying new vs stripping old if ur old finish is difficult to remove.
