Bow Norman pin. Fits all Classic Boston Whaler boats from 9 - 17ft. Will also fit other boats. This is the "cleat" that is found in the bow fin area of most classic Boston Whalers. Made from high quality mirror polished 316 Stainless steel with a removable 2.5" 304 SS threaded stud. Each side of the pin is also 2.5". Some earlier model boats may have had pins with rounded ends. These pins have hexagon ends.
If you need a pair of stern Norman pins click here
Note: Both sides of the pin completely unthread off of the stud. Loosen both sides prior to installation so enough thread is exposed to reach through the fin.

Boston Whaler *Bow* Norman pin
Store owner replied: Hi Doug, Just emailed you an invoice (may go to junk or spam)
Great Product - Ties all the boat Hardware Chrome in nicely I added a pass through 1/2 " inch sleeve ( plumbing copper ) on the install. Example : Cut copper to width of Whaler fiberglass install Hole flush on both sides after passing it through fiberglass install hole ( note: I reemed hole out on both sides with a Dremel to pass through nicely tight) . Next , I bought 2 white plastic Nylon shoulder washers for install Example - the I.D. of each washer equals = install bolt O.D. The O.D. of nylon shoulder washers equal = Shoulder size of Chrome pin near the tightening hex on pin Copper - allows tightening without damaging boat fiberglass and nylon washers look great with Chrome; but Nylon both protects fiberglass on install & years of usages between pin & boat fiberglass Re- cap Pass copper through hole , next pass nylon washer sleeve onto bolt / Chrome pin , next , pass assembly through copper installed hole . Lastly - add second nylon sleeve to other side of assembly install bolt. You are now ready to screw on 2nd half of Specialty Marine Chrome Pin Piece ( tighten appropriately) You cannot crush interior fiberglass by adding copper pass thru sleeve also copper & water 💦 pair nicely so no tarnishing of area during usage Product is of course great tying off hardware & attractive 😉 Would recommend Great having a partner like Specialty Marine for our Boston Whaler Community Respectfully Continued Success Water 💦💦 💦😎❤️✔️ Greg

Not as advertised. I have a 13 foot classic Boston Whaler and the pin does not fit even though the description states it fits all classic whalers 9-17 feet.

Boston Whaler *Bow* Norman pin
Store owner replied: Hi Joseph, Have you unscrewed both sides completely off the all thread pin?
The pin does not fit the contour of the bow area where it is supposed to go through the fixture point in the boat and the area at each base where a wrench can tighten it is too large for the hole that is in my boat. Angle is off terribly. Basically using the threaded rod out of the new pin to put with my old brass exterior pins to get it to work. Thank you

Boston Whaler *Bow* Norman pin
Store owner replied: That is interesting. This is one of the first products we ever replicated over 25 years ago and the only time it hasn't fit a customer's boat is when there has been glass work done to remove the contour out of the fin area. How long is your original threaded stud? We do carry a 4" stud for the transom of the older 13'. Do you have an image of your fin we could see?

The shaft is too short by about 1/4”. I’ll have to drill out the fiberglass on the boat to install. Other than that it looks great in my hand
